Hey everybody, Ryan here at Etrailer, today on our 2022 Buick Encore GX, we're going to be showing you how to install the Roadmaster Automatic Battery Disconnect, but before we do that, I'm going to check it out and make sure that, this is something that's going to work for you. The whole purpose of this kit, is to allow you to easily disconnect and reconnect your battery whenever you're getting ready to flat tow. And that's because with this particular vehicle, you have to disconnect the battery power whenever you are flat towing. And with the setup underneath the hood, will show you that in a minute, that could be a huge pain to have to get out there and take it apart and put it back together every single time you want to hook up or disconnect from your motorhome. And this just really streamlines everything, all you're gonna have to do, is push a button. So for example, I'll power our car up here, we'll just get it in accessory mode that way we can kinda show you what's going on. more

Hi there Buick owners, today on your 2020 Buick Envision, we're going to be taking a look at it and showing you how to install Blue Ox's Second Vehicle Breakaway kit for the Patriot Braking System. And this is what our second vehicle kit looks like. You're going to get a breakaway switch as well as the compatible cable that connects to the breakaway switch and also connects to the Blue Ox Patriot Braking System. And this is a great kit. If you have multiple vehicles that you like to flat tow with, and you're already using a Blue Ox Patriot, it's a portable system and easily moves from one vehicle to another, but you do need that breakaway switch installed. This kit is going to get those other vehicles set up and going, or maybe the vehicle you we're flat towing with you've now retired that vehicle you're done with it, you've got a new one and you want to use your patriot and start flat towing with that one. The second vehicle gets an easy way for you to get that re-installed because pulling this out of here on an old unit can be difficult to get those wires out without damaging anything. more

Rear View Safety Backup Monitor Installation - 2012 Buick Enclave- Video

Rear View Safety Backup Monitor Installation - 2012 Buick Enclave

Shane: Shane here with etrailer.com. Today we're going to be going over the RVS, rear view safety camera set up. This system typically is just going to come with your monitor. You're going to have to get your rear camera and your two side cameras if you decide to put those on.Another thing is typically we put these on campers or RVs. Because they're so big, it makes it a lot easier to either see past the camper or to see a couple of lanes over. The reason we put it on this car is the owner of the vehicle has a hard time turning his neck, so he wanted something that he can see a couple lanes over when he's either changing lanes or getting ready to turn, to give him that extra view that he needs because obviously he cannot turn his head. The camera set up, the RVS screen is going to be a 5.6 inch screen. more

Yakima Roof Rack Review - 2017 Buick Envision Y00148- Video

Yakima Roof Rack Review - 2017 Buick Envision Y00148

Speaker 1: Today is our 2017 Buick Envision. We're going to be test fitting Yakima round bar roof rack system, consisting of the round cross bars for the roof rack system, the sky line towers for the Yakima cross bars, the adapter kit to have round bars fit onto the skyline towers, and finally the landing pads which attaches to your pre-existing points on your flush side mounts. The Yakima round bar roof rack system is great for carrying a wide variety of accessories on your roof, or freeing up space inside your vehicle. This can carry bike racks, cargo baskets, and kayak carriers. The bars have a combined carrying capacity of 165 pounds, although you always want to double check with your vehicle's manual, to make sure your roof can handle those weights. These do mount to fixed points, so you don't have to worry about measuring out for cross bar spreads. And once you remove the bars themselves, they do come with end caps so you don't have to remove the landing pads and they're ready for your use next time.At the ends of each of our towers, we do have these removable caps which you can replace with the Yakima same key system. more

Malone Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2014 Buick Enclave- Video

Malone Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2014 Buick Enclave

Today on our 2014 Buick Enclave, we're going to be test fitting the Malone Pilot 4 Bike Rack for number MPG2112-2115. We already have a bike installed on the rack, let's take a closer look and show off some of the features. One of the more common features about this bike is the fact that it can tilt away from the vehicle with all four bikes still attached so it can have rear hatch access. To do that, we'll come up to the front here, snap this loose, and lifting up on the rack a little bit, we'll remove the pin completely. You'll notice with that pin removed, it still doesn't fall. That's because there is a catch up at the front here to prevent it from falling so you don't have all that weight coming down at you at once, and you have time to come back here and get a decent grip. more
